In this video, I show you how easy it is combine certain foods for maximum nutritional benefit.
Sometimes it's enough to just eat veggies. However, some foods have been scientifically proven to be more powerful when eaten in combination. Many of these foods are already considered super foods for their effect on the body; however, these super foods don't always deliver their maximum benefit when eaten on their own or in combination with the wrong foods.
Foods are made up of atoms, ions and molecules, just like us. They provide us with energy, but more importantly, information. Food is information for the body. It tells the body what to do and when to do it; for example, what hormones to release and when to switch on genes.
Regardless of how powerful a super food is, and how many nutrients it has, not all nutrients are absorbed equally. The information can be lost. The nutrients of some foods however, can be absorbed at a much higher rate and utilised to a higher capacity when combined with particular foods. Nutrition is a science and the human body is complex.
When foods are combined effectively, the absorption of antioxidants is enhanced, the efficiency of the digestive system is increased, and the immune system is boosted.
In this video, I make (some for the first time) and try the following healthy recipes:
- Chickpea Salad with an Orange-based Dressing
- Homemade Salsa and Avocado
- Leafy Green Salad with Carrot and Pine Nuts
- Salmon with Brussels Sprouts and Broccoli
- Green Tea with Soda Water, Lemon Wedges and Mint Leaves
Watch this video to discover the foods that you should be combining for maximum nutritional benefit.
This video includes the foods you SHOULD combine but not the foods you SHOULD NOT. For a list of foods you should not combine, and the various reasons, check out the full written blog at: https://jacobandreae.com/blog/5-foods...
