The strength exercises develop endurance if you're using a light weight or hypertrophy if you're using a heavy weight. If you're using a heavy weight, break the 40x reps up into as many sets as you need to complete them.
This is a Medium-High Intensity session, which can be made more intense by increasing the weight or doubling the number of mat jumpovers from 20x to 40x.
