A ladder workout is when we take a number of exercises, and do them in an order where the first exercise goes for the most amount of time and the last exercise goes for the least amount of time. Once we complete all of the exercises in order (going "down" the ladder), we work our way back "up" the ladder, starting with the exercise that has the least amount of time dedicated to it.
In this moderate-intensity Cardio Ladder Workout, we'll be doing
- 2 minutes 30 seconds of Lunges
- 2 minutes of Skipping
- 1 minute 30 seconds of Brace with Leg Abduction
- 1 minute of Mountain Climbers
- 30 seconds of Push-ups
Then we will work our way back "up" the ladder, starting with the push-ups first.
After every exercise, we will rest for 30 seconds.
All you need for this workout is a skipping rope.
You can use a timer app on your phone to make it easier to keep track of time. Remember to only workout to your ability - make modifications where required.
